Door Access Technician

Responsibilities:

• On-site hands on installer role

• Perform new installation of biometric machines, CCTV, door access, turnstile access control.

• Installation for door access inclusive of EM Locks, Push Button, Break Glass, Power Supply Box, laying of cat 5 / 6, RS485, RJ45 cables, Trunking.

• Installation of compatible accessories such as 4G Router, Wifi extender, Wiegand Compatible devices, Intercom Systems

• Installation of 12V machines in the security or biometrics industries.

• Work with the office team to support and installation related issues.

• Ensure that support and installation deadlines are met and up to client’s expectations.

• Able to both work well in a team and be independent

• Ensure all procedures, processes and engineering matters are undertaken in a timely and efficient manner.

• Assist in island-wide delivery, installation and troubleshooting.

• Site coordination for Performing Daily Corrective and Preventive Maintenance

• Work closely with project coordinators for daily jobs

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have a valid class 3 driving license or must have own motorbike

• Preferably with at least 2 years of working experience related in installation & repair works relating to Door Access, Intercom Systems, Turnstile, Fingerprint Readers or CCTV

• N/O level / Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma

• Knowledge in laying electrical cables and trunking work

• Experience with installation of door access, CCTV and cabling

• Able to do testing, and support.

• Learns quickly, has natural problem-solving skills

• Independent with need for minimal training and supervision.

• Be the go-to contact person for clients when they require support

• Senior or Managerial level of experience preferred
